From industrial area to vibrant residential area

The Cruquius area has transformed from an industrial site into a lively, urban area where living and working are enjoyable. Situated by the water, within the city ring and a five-minute bike ride from the Indische Buurt, it is increasingly becoming part of the city.

Cruquiuswerf is located in the elbow of the Cruquiuseiland peninsula in the Oostelijk Havengebied. Here, 173 houses and 122 rental homes (commissioned by a.s.r. real estate) have been realized. The program includes urban apartments, townhouses and penthouses, catering to the housing needs of a diverse audience. The beautiful location of the plan with water all around ensures that almost all residents enjoy views of the quay and the water.

"The quay in Amsterdam Noord comes to life through Cruquiuswerf."

Sustainable living, urban city life

All homes are equipped with good insulation and feature individual air/water heat pumps. The roofs are fitted with solar panels. By using air/water heat pumps, the homes are gas-free.

In addition to living spaces, there is room for coffee bars, galleries, studios and other urban establishments that enhance city life. With the mix of various homes, workspaces, amenities, and proximity to the city, Cruquiuswerf is the place to be!
